A Whole Lot to Do This Summer

Too many divers in the Cleveland area think of diving as something you do only on vacation. Just Add Water can keep you immersed right here at home. For example:

  • Digital Underwater Photography Seminar: On Thursday evening, June 11, Steve Miller will conduct an introductory seminar on digital underwater photography. He’ll cover what equipment you will need, options for learning how and some fundamental principles that can help you start taking great underwater photos right away. More…
  • DUI Demo Days: Take place May 29, 30 and 31 at Gilboa Quarry. Test drive a DUI drysuit. Bob Fitch will be on hand Friday and Saturday to assist those who are completing their open-water training dives for drysuit certification. Learn more…
  • Play Hooky with Just Add Water: Go ahead. Call in sick. Make any excuse. (After all, you deserve it.) Just Add Water “Play Hooky” days are something we did for the first time last summer. It went over so well, we are doing it three times this year. More…
  • Just Add Water Pool Nights: Sometimes it’s fun to just jump in the pool and play around — especially if you’ve not done it for a while. This is exactly what we will be doing on Friday evening, June 26, and again on Wednesday evening, July 8. More…
  • Just Add Water Quarry Weekend: Join us July 25-26 for a weekend of diving, socializing, camping, contests and ribs. Take part one or both days. Stay overnight in a nearby motel or camp out on site. (Oh, yeah…did we mention Steve Barrickman’s incredibly delicious ribs?) Find out more…

On top of this, we have three St. Lawrence Seaway Trips and two Niagara River trips scheduled for June, July, August and September. (See our Travel page for more info.) And don’t forget our extensive schedule of continuing education classes taking place throughout the summer.

Now you have no excuse. It’s time to get wet.
